Hiking Travels instructors and guides have a stern personal knowledge base in all the sports we offer training for. Liisa and Pekka Tyllilä were working as ski guides for Suomen Latu before we started our company. The younger generation Tapio was already taking part back then. The skiing sport progressed to competition where Tapio excelled in the national level in Pekkas training. Tapio is a Shory alpine, adaptive and telemark ski-instructor and has been a ski-instructor at Ellivuori and Sappee. In tour skating we are one of the pioneers of the sport in Finland. We have had a part in the development of Finnish tour skating already from the early 1990’s.
