The lessee is responsible of the hired equipment. The equipment has to be used in proper care. The lessee is obligated to return the rental equipment on the time agreed upon. The equipment must be returned in the condition it was received in. In the case of damage or total loss of the leased equipment, the lessee is responsible and has to pay the value of the damage, in maximum the purchace value of the damaged equipment. All damages caused to the equipment in river/whitewater canoeing (except in plastic canoes the wearing through of the hull) are on the responsibility of the lessee and an according fee will be charged for these. The lessee understands the safety aspects concerning the equipment. Skating is on the lessees own responsibility. The lessee is aware of Finnish Everyman’s right and will act accordingly.
